Job Description

A well-established law firm in Westlake Village, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys across all phases of litigation. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of matters, including litigation and corporate/general counsel support for homeowners' association clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, file, and serve pleadings, motions, discovery, and subpoenas
  • Manage litigation calendars, court deadlines, and case timelines
  • Assist attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, including trial preparation
  • Coordinate depositions, mediations, and court appearances
  • Draft discovery requests/responses, correspondence, and routine pleadings
  • Organize and maintain case files, exhibits, and trial materials
  • Provide general counsel and corporate support for HOA clients

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of court procedures and filing requirements
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation: $72,000 - $77,000 annually commensurate with experience
